About The Speaker

Ken Johnson is a Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Idea Development at WAGIC, Inc. (What A Great Idea Company), located in Los Gatos.

WAGIC is an international creative services firm specializing in bringing tangible and virtual assets to the marketplace for itself, and others. For more than 20 years, Ken has worn just about every hat in the business and has been instrumental in growing the company into a recognized innovation leader, particularly in the Do-It-Yourself retail channel. Today he serves as the company’s point man for creating, sourcing and nurturing its new ideas and partnerships. Ken is passionate about idea development and is an inventor of many of the Company’s patented products.

Ken is a graduate of Fresno State University and currently lives in Campbell with his wife and two daughters.

Fred will cover how to design a look for you invention while keeping manufacturing in mind.

How to develop a style and look for your product with the manufacturing processes you have available to provide a repeatable style for your product portfolio.

Fred Schechter is an Industrial Designer. His specialties include: industrial design, business development, project management, product management, 3-D modeling (Rhino, Solid Works), packaging design, point of purchase design, sketching, presentation, patent process, Adobe Creative Suite, materials research, patent research, and technology research.
