Dangsheng will give a short talk about his experiences in successfully licensing his ideas then open it up for an informative question and answer session. Even though Dangsheng is licensing technologies he has developed, he believes his experiences in selling his ideas for royalties can be applied to any type of product.

Dangsheng is earning six figures in royalties by licensing his technologies.

Dangsheng Liang, Inventor & President of Apex Bait Technologies, Inc.



The company president, Dangsheng Liang, Ph.D., has more than 15 years experience in research and product development for insecticidal bait products for urban pests. He has published more than 15 scientific papers in refereed journals and delivered more than 20 professional presentations on scientific meetings on insect behavior, physiology, and management.

Before starting Apex Bait Technologies, Dr. Liang worked in bait formulation for more than 5 years for a leading insect bait manufacturer. His his excellent research skills and passion for insect bait technologies led to excellent understanding of the complex interplay between the various ingredients of insecticidal baits essential for formulating highly attractive bait products.

Patent claims are the part of a patent or patent application that defines the scope of protection granted by the patent. The claims define, in technical terms, the extent of the protection conferred by a patent, or the protection sought in a patent application. The claims are of the utmost importance both during prosecution and litigation.

Damon will give you a closer look at what claims are and how you can analize them.

About Damon
Mr. Kali specializes in patent prosecution and associated client counseling. His practice emphasizes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a wide range of technologies including semiconductor device fabrication, bioinformatics, gene chip technology, computer software, and digital imaging equipment.

Prior to attending law school Mr. Kali worked for Gruntec America where he gained valuable experience in biohazardous waste remediation, which included thermal analysis of incineration devices used in the destruction of heterogeneous waste streams, process control modeling and software implementation for automated incineration devices, and emission control systems to meet EPA and NAFTA requirements for incineration devices both in the United States and Mexico. Mr. Kali also developed a hybrid full stream video system to deliver educational content for SERA Learning Technologies in cooperation with Stanford University, Sun Systems, Chico State University, and California Polytechnic University.

While attending Santa Clara University he was the President of the Intellectual Property Association, a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and a La Raza Mentor. He also completed the High Tech Certificate Program while attending Santa Clara.

Mr. Kali is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the California Bar Association.

About Andrew's Talk
Andrew has helped Inventors bring everything from novelties earning the Inventor thousand of dollars in royalties to consumer products bringing in millions.

Over the last 10 years, he's talked to between five to fifteen Inventors everyday weekday about their projects, fears and concerns. He knows both the positive and not so constructive paterns and thoughts Inventors have inside and out.

This is your chance to learn how to not be a typical Inventor, but rather learn how to become a successful Inventor that get's their products out into the world to be bought, used and enjoyed.

About Andrew
Andrew has been helping out at Inventors Alliance for the past 13 years to keep the organization running and find the best speakers possible to help educate the members.

He has also been teaching and coaching inventors for over 10 years through his business inventRight.

Andrew has been featured on NPR (National Public Radio) Science Friday and was asked by the Obama transition team to advise them on potential changes that should be made at the US Patent & Trademark Office to better serve independent Inventors.

Andrew's is a full time Inventor Educator and coach. He truely enjoys new products and helping Inventors bring them to market.
