IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL SACRAMENTO CHAPTER MEMBERS - PLEASE READ

 

Inventors Alliance Sacramento has been around going on eight years now. We've helped many Sacramento Inventors get educated over the years. Although I have played a large role in helping to plan the Sacramento meeting over the years, I have to say that the group wouldn't have been able to help so many inventors without Sacramento Chapter vice president Ed Silva. 

 

Without Ed there would never have been a Sacramento Chapter. He consistently hosted our meeting the many years the Sacramento Chapter has been around. It's really hard to find someone so committed as Ed to the cause of educating independent inventors. He has always been there for the organization and for you to consistently host our monthly meetings for the last eight years. 

 

Ed.......you have a lot to be proud of. Thank you for helping to keep Inventors Alliance Sacramento going for so many years! I hope you look back on the experience with fond memories and a sense of pride in your contirbution. I know I do!

 

Although we have helped many inventors over the years in Sacramento, the Sacramento Chapter has never really grown to a level where we could justify all the effort we have put into it. However, Ed and myself insisted on holding monthly meetings I think because we believed so much in the cause.

 

It has come to a point for both of us where we have decided to move on. Despite some big name speakers in recent years, we still didn't get a turnout large enough to justify continuing to hold meetings. In fact we have been loosing money for many years now on the Sacramento Chapter meetings. That was ok and Inventors Alliance has always been willing to absorb the losses. However, the planning and many hours of work that are required to keep the chapter up and running simply can no longer be justified for the small turnout we are currently getting and quite frankly have always gotten consistently over the last eight years at Inventors Alliance Sacramento. 

 

For those of you that are members, we will be holding three more meetings to fulfi our three month membership commitment to you. Anyone is welcome to attend any of our last three meetings as a member or non-member. The fees for these last three meetings will be the same as always.

 

Our last three meetings will take place on Tuesday, October 18th, then Tuesday, November 15th and then on Saturday, December 10th we'll have a carpool to our big annual December event in the Bay Area. 

 

I encourage you to stay on as members to attend the meeting we have in the Bay Area once a month in Menlo Park. We'll be organizing a carpool for anyone that wants to attend the events in the Bay Area. Also, you'll be able to watch the recordings of all our meetings via the Inventors Alliance membership site. So there are plenty of reasons to stay on as a member. However, if you'd like to cancel your membership, email membersupport@inventorsalliance.org or go into PayPal and simply cancel your subscription.

Andrew has been featured on NPR (National Public Radio) Science Friday and was asked by the Obama transition team to advise them on potential changes that should be made at the US Patent & Trademark Office to better serve independent inventors. 

Andrew is a full time Inventor Educator and coach. He truely enjoys new products and helping inventors bring them to market.

Andrew Krauss will be appear live via Skype video projected onto a large screen. Inventors Alliance Sacramento Chapter Vice President Ed Silva facilitate the meeting in person.
